About Blades Outdoor Services

There is granite under Cold Spring — you feel it in a yard where the soil runs thin over ledge and the grass tells you exactly where the rock is. Blades Outdoor Services works with that: mowing and trimming through the season, edges cut clean along walks and drives, feeding and weed control for turf making do with a shallow root run, aeration and overseeding, cleanups when the oaks finally give up in November. Winter comes off the Sauk River valley damp and heavy, and the same properties get plowed, cleared by hand and treated for ice before the morning starts. Snow that sets up like it was quarried is far easier to move early than late. So the truck goes out early.
