About Conner’s Lawn & Snow LLC

In June this far north the light hangs on until nearly ten, and the grass takes full advantage — everything that waited out a long winter comes on at once. Conner's Lawn & Snow LLC keeps that surge in hand around Rice Lake, mowing on a schedule, trimming out around birches, fence posts and mailboxes, and edging the drives back to their line. Yards up here run to sand, shade and a lot of leaf litter, so cleanups in spring and fall do nearly as much for a lawn as the mowing does. There's a particular pleasure in the last pass of a summer evening — the stripe pattern holding all the way back to the treeline. Then the sun finally goes, and the yard keeps looking like that until next week.
