About TJ’s landscaping

West of Red Wing the land climbs out of the river valley onto the Featherstone ridges, where the wind runs unbroken across corn and the yards are wide enough to watch weather coming for an hour. TJ's landscaping mows out here and in town both, holding the same standard on a quarter-acre off a side street as on a long farm approach. The list is short: cut it even, trim what the deck can't reach, edge the walks, take the clippings along — plus the cleanups that bracket the growing season at either end. A June evening on the ridge, sun going down behind the machine shed, the grass laid over in stripes: that's the picture worth chasing. Simple work, carried all the way out to the corners.
