Red Wing Lawncare

About Red Wing Lawncare

In February the eagles drop down to Colvill Park to sit above the open water where the Mississippi refuses to freeze, and Red Wing is at its whitest seen from there. Red Wing Lawncare is out long before the park fills up, plowing drives and clearing walks so the day can start on time. When the ice finally lets go and the boulevards green up, the same trucks come back with mowers — cutting on a schedule, trimming out the corners a deck can't hold, edging the walks back to their true line. The town takes its shape from the river both ways: the flood-green of June and the hard bright glare of a plowed January morning. Working a yard here means knowing which one you're standing in.
