About Otte Excavating, Inc.

When a January wind crosses the farmland around Randolph, it does more than drop snow; it sculpts it, packing drifts hard against fence lines, machine sheds and the far ends of driveways. Otte Excavating, Inc. meets that wind with snow removal backed by the heft of an excavating outfit, moving the dense, wind-packed snow a shovel can only argue with. In the dark before sunrise, a cleared drive is what lets a household in this Dakota County town get on with the day. The pride is in that first clean pass, sides cut square and the bank shoved far enough back that the next gust has somewhere to put its load. By the time the sky goes pink, the road out is waiting.
