About Jake's Top Notch Tree Service

In Princeton the Rum River curls through town, running high and brown in April and slowing to an easy amber glide by midsummer. Jake's Top Notch Tree Service keeps lawns in this river town mowed and trimmed, following the grass from its first bright flush after the thaw to its last slow growth under September maples. The work is plain and satisfying: even passes across the yard, edges cleaned up along walks and beds, the drive swept clean of clippings. A Princeton yard cared for this way feels settled and calm, the sort of lawn that makes the stoop a fine place to sit awhile. It is pride you can see from the street.
