Grøn Irrigation

About Grøn Irrigation

Blue Hill lies on the Anoka Sand Plain, ground so open-handed that a July shower can vanish into it before the eaves stop dripping. Lawns here are grown as much as they are cut, the blade set high so the roots keep their own shade through a dry Sherburne County August. Grøn Irrigation works those yards on the same day each week, mowing, running the trimmer down the fence lines, then sweeping the clippings back off the walk. By the time the truck pulls out, the grass stands even and the edges read like a drawn line. When the last warm weeks go, the same yards get raked out and put to bed for the cold.
