About Halls Outdoor Services

Pokegama is lake and low woods and township gravel, with yards opening wherever somebody once cleared enough room for one. Halls Outdoor Services mows those openings — shoreline lots, the long approaches off the gravel, the grass that has to fight for footing under pine. Trimming around the fire ring, the shed corner and the steps down to the water finishes what the mower starts. Spring work takes the winter's fall of needle and branch off the turf so the ground can warm on schedule. On a July evening, with the lake gone still and the cutting done, a yard here looks the way people picture it all winter long.
