Besta Logging

About Besta Logging

Winter settles hard on Pine County, and the driveways that wind back through pine and popple are the first things to disappear. Besta Logging plows them — long wooded lanes, farm and yard sites, and lots in town — pushing the snow back to the treeline where it has room. Working the hours before the first cars move means a driver can get out to the interstate without a fight, and that is most of the point. Walks are cleared, the turnaround left wide, the mailbox end opened so nothing blocks the route. Cold mornings out here come with frost smoke over the low ground and the sound of a blade scraping two roads away.
