Woodland Tree Service

About Woodland Tree Service

The Platte River threads the lowlands near Pierz through tamarack and willow before the country opens back into fields. By late October the tamaracks have gone gold, the fields are down to stubble, and every yard tree stands out plainly against the flat light. Woodland Tree Service works that ground with removal, trimming and pruning — clearing dead ash out of a fence line, shaping the maples that shade a farmhouse, cutting away what a wet snow has already broken. Storm cleanup out here often means a long driveway and a great many limbs, and handing it back passable and swept is its own reward. Around Pierz, a yard that has been looked after shows at a glance.
