True North Cabin Care

About True North Cabin Care

Half the doors around Pequot Lakes belong to cabins, and cabins spend long stretches waiting — for ice-out, for the first weekend of May, for the sound of tires on the gravel. True North Cabin Care keeps those places ready for the return: lawns mowed so the grass never gets away, snow cleared so a midwinter visit finds the driveway open. There is a particular satisfaction in tending a place whose owners are elsewhere, so that it looks cared-for the moment they pull in. The loons come back, the dock light comes on, and the yard is already ahead of them. That's the idea in the name: a steady point to steer home by.
