Turtle Creek Nursery & Landscaping

About Turtle Creek Nursery & Landscaping

Spring reaches the creek bottoms south of Owatonna first — Turtle Creek running high with snowmelt, red-winged blackbirds staking claims in the cattails — and Turtle Creek Nursery & Landscaping wakes up with it. A nursery and landscaping business takes its cues from growing things, and that shows in how they treat a lawn: as soil and root and living ground, not just something to be trimmed. Through the warm months they keep yards fed, cut, and cleaned, shaping the green spaces where Owatonna's long spring evenings actually get lived in. April here smells like thawed earth and possibility. Their work is to make sure that possibility comes up thick and green by Memorial Day.
