SS Aeration

About SS Aeration

September in Owatonna announces itself quietly — cool nights drifting up off the Straight River, a first blush of color in the oaks — and that is exactly when a lawn is readiest to breathe. SS Aeration works that window, pulling clean cores from turf gone tight after a long Minnesota summer, opening the soil so rain and seed can reach the roots. It is unglamorous work with a beautiful payoff: by the time the frost comes, the grass has already banked its strength for spring. They handle the mowing and feeding through the growing months too, keeping yards from the river flats to the edge-of-town subdivisions in good order. There is a particular satisfaction in a lawn that greens up early in April, and it is usually earned the autumn before.
