About Southern Minnesota LawnWorks LLC

West of I-35 the land opens into prairie, and in January the wind uses every mile of it — drifting snow across Owatonna's driveways faster than a shovel can argue. Southern Minnesota LawnWorks LLC runs against that wind in the dark hours, plow blades down, so that garage doors lift onto clear pavement while the streetlights are still on. When the thaw finally wins sometime in April, the same crew trades steel for mower blades and carries yards through the green half of the year — cutting, trimming, cleaning up what the melt left behind. It is a two-season trade in a two-season town, and both halves get done with the same stubbornness. The drive is open before the school bus comes; the lawn is cut before the weekend does. That is the whole promise, kept over and over.
