Carr's Tree Service

About Carr's Tree Service

In January, Otter Tail Lake becomes a white plain dotted with fish houses, and the shoreline driveways that lead down to it fill fast whenever a front sweeps across the open ice. Carr's Tree Service, a tree service based in Ottertail, takes on the snow removal that a lake-country winter demands. Each lane is plowed straight and wide, with the banks shoved well back so the next storm has somewhere to go. There is a quiet satisfaction in glancing back from the road at a drive opened between the pines, its surface already printed with fresh tire tracks. When the wind off the lake finally drops and the stars sharpen over the ice, the way home is open.
