SMK Tree Service

About SMK Tree Service

The Central Lakes Trail follows the old rail line through Osakis, and in February it is a white ribbon between farm groves with the wind combing snow across it. Winter is honest time for tree work — the crowns are easy to judge, the ground is hard, and a removal can happen without tearing up a lawn. SMK Tree Service takes on the deadwood, the leaners and the removals people have been putting off, plus the pruning and trimming that keep a farmstead grove doing its job against the north wind. When ice loads the branches and a limb comes down across a drive, cleanup comes first and questions come later. A place that looks squared away under fresh snow is worth the cold.
