About Precision Roadway Services, LLC

At three in the morning the wind off the open fields near Osakis lifts loose snow across the pavement in long white ropes, and a lot that was clean at midnight is drifted over by first light. Precision Roadway Services, LLC works those hours — plowing lots and drives, stacking the piles where they will not blow straight back, cutting the entrances wide, and treating the ice that forms after the wind lays down. Anything near the interstate corridor gets hit twice on a bad night, because out here the snow does not fall so much as travel. The payoff is a surface that is open and passable when the first vehicle rolls in at six. Winter in Douglas County is a long argument, and this is how you win it one night at a time.
