Mow'N Pros

About Mow'N Pros

The Oakdale Nature Preserve keeps a run of cattail and boardwalk right in the middle of town, and on a June Saturday the neighborhoods around it wake up slowly, one garage door at a time. Mow'N Pros is already out by then — mowing on a set rotation, trimming, edging, seasonal cleanups, and snow plowing and walkway clearing once the calendar flips. A cul-de-sac done properly reads as one lawn instead of nine: the cut runs the same direction and the edges line up house to house down the whole loop. Winter turns that identical loop into a plowing problem with no straight lines anywhere in it, which is a puzzle of its own. Either way, the goal is a street that looks looked-after.
