About Blake's lawn care llc

On a July evening in Northfield, the Cannon River goes copper under the low sun and the river-bottom yards fill up with fireflies. Blake's lawn care tends those yards and the ones on the streets above them — mowing through the fat green weeks of summer, trimming along fences and foundations, hauling off what fall shakes loose. A college town keeps its lawns like it keeps its bookshelves: not fussy, but cared for, and it shows on every block. The work is walked as much as ridden, so the little things get seen up close. By dusk the grass is cut, the walk is swept, and the river keeps easing by.
