Prime Lawn Services

About Prime Lawn Services

A few minutes out of North Branch, the water still slides green and glassy over Kost Dam, and in high June the whole countryside seems to run on that same easy abundance — everything growing all at once. Prime Lawn Services exists to keep that abundance in bounds. Mowing on a set weekly round, string-trimming the fence lines and mailbox posts, edging the walks until they read like drawn lines: it is simple work compounded into something you can see from down the block. A lawn in this country wants to be a hayfield; the job is to keep it a lawn. Done well, week after week, that difference is the whole pleasure of it.
