Autumn arrives fast in the Brainerd lakes: one week the maples along the roads into Nisswa are turning, the next they are underfoot. Olson Turf & Green works the full arc of it — leaves cleared and carried off, the closing cuts taken low, fertilizer worked in so the turf goes under the snow with something left in reserve. Through the warm months it is the weekly round instead, mowing and trimming and keeping every border true along the drives.
