About Northern Tree Specialists

A north-wind night in Crow Wing County can lay down eight inches without much noise, and by six the lake roads are one long white ribbon. Northern Tree Specialists is out ahead of the light — plowing driveways, opening walks and parking approaches, breaking the drift that stacks against a garage door on the windward side of a house. Snow here does not visit; it accumulates from December into March, every storm building on the banks of the last. That means deciding in November where the piles will go, so there is still somewhere to put February. The measure of a good morning is plain: somebody steps out the door and the way out is already open.
