About Honer Excavating Inc

In winter the Paul Bunyan State Trail slips through Nisswa beneath a fresh white blanket, and the pines along it hold the snow in heavy armfuls. Honer Excavating Inc turns its excavating muscle on the snow, keeping drives open in this Brainerd lakes town when the storms stack up. It's big-shouldered work — deep snow moved with purpose, banks shoved back far enough to hold the rest of the winter. Then the sky clears to the hard, brilliant blue of a northern January, and the cleared ground gleams. For anyone waking up to a buried driveway this far north, that's the view that matters.
