About McDonough Landscaping

At four in the morning a snowstorm in Newport is mostly sound — the scrape of a blade, river fog freezing white on the streetlights along Highway 61. McDonough Landscaping is out in it, opening driveways and walks so the first cars of the day back out without a thought, then salting the slick places the wind glazes over. Come April the same addresses change entirely: mowing, edging, mulch and beds, cleanups that pull the winter grit out of every corner. Two kinds of pride, one list of properties. A drive cleared to bare pavement before dawn and a lawn cut sharp in July are the same promise kept in different weather.
