On the eastern edge of Golden Valley, the neighborhoods lean into Theodore Wirth Park, and the line between backyard and woodland goes pleasantly blurry. Eco Oasis tends that in-between country: lawns mowed and edged in the growing months, walks and driveways opened when winter closes them. Summer mornings begin with damp grass and red-winged blackbirds calling from the cattails near Wirth Lake; January mornings begin with a shovel's first scrape before the sky turns pale. Both are their own kind of quiet. The aim is simple — a yard that feels like a small green refuge, and a clear path to your door no matter what the sky decided overnight.
