About Terra Firma Estates Inc.

Terra firma — solid ground — is exactly what disappears from New Brighton every winter, buried under a season's worth of storms. Terra Firma Estates Inc. spends those months getting it back, plowing driveways and clearing walks until pavement shows honest and black through the white. Deep February is their proving ground, when the banks stand shoulder-high and each new storm has to be stacked on top of the last. The town digs out because somebody with a plow decided it would, and around here that somebody is often them.
