About Northland Dirtworks LLC

Nelson is a short main street, a grain elevator, and the old rail line turned Central Lakes Trail running straight out of town in both directions. Northland Dirtworks LLC keeps the drives and lots here open when February squalls come across the fields between Osakis and Alexandria. Wind is the real trouble in this country — a drive cleared at six can be shut again by nine — so the route gets run as many times as it takes. Piles go back away from the turnaround, walks come clear to the door, and the gravel shows where gravel belongs. Small town, plain work, and a lot of people who need to be somewhere in the morning.
