About Devon Hill Services

Out on the Three Points peninsula the wind has open water on three sides, and when a squall crosses Harrison Bay it loads the driveways faster than anywhere else in Mound. Devon Hill Services runs those narrow lanes at night, the ones that dead-end at the shore and give a truck nowhere to put the snow except exactly where it belongs. There is a real satisfaction in a peninsula street opened end to end before anyone is awake — mailbox aprons cut, turnarounds squared, walks scraped down to their own surface. Ice gets treated where the shade holds it past noon, and the banks get pushed back far enough that the next system has somewhere to go. Snow removal is the whole of the work here, and the lake makes sure there is plenty of it.
