About Straightline Inc

The Red River Valley is one of the flattest stretches of ground on the continent — a place where a straight line can run to the horizon without meeting a hill. Straightline Inc took the hint. Their winter work is geometry against weather: long, clean plow passes across parking lots at midnight, windrows stacked square, entrances opened wide enough that the morning's first delivery truck never has to think about it. In a Moorhead January the snow keeps its own schedule, so the plows keep one too. What's left behind is the plainest kind of good work — pavement, edge to edge, exactly where it's supposed to be.
