Snow Dynamics

About Snow Dynamics

Snow in Moorhead rarely falls straight down — it travels. It comes sideways off the open fields at the edge of town, packs itself behind fences, and rebuilds a driveway you cleared three hours ago. Snow Dynamics treats that motion as the actual problem to solve: where the wind loads the drifts, where a berm should go so it doesn't blow right back, which pass to make first when a ground blizzard is still working. It is snow removal as a thinking job, done in a place that tests it harder than almost anywhere. When the wind finally lays down and the sky clears to that hard prairie blue, the pavement is bare and stays that way.
