About B&L Outdoors Services

Montrose wakes early in January, and so does a plow. B&L Outdoors Services works the driveways and side streets off Highway 12 while the sky is still the color of an old nickel, cutting a clean lane to the road before the first car needs it. When the drifts finally go soft and the ditches start running, the same trucks come back for grass — mowing, trimming and edging through a Wright County summer that grows fast and asks to be kept up with. There is a plain satisfaction in a lawn striped straight to the property line and a driveway swept down to the pavement. Snow removal and lawn care, both halves of a Montrose year, handled by people who live in it.
