About JK Landscaping

Monticello in July smells of cut grass and lake water, with kids shrieking in the shallows at the Bertram Chain of Lakes beach and the oaks throwing long shade by four in the afternoon. JK Landscaping keeps the town's lawns green and in order, mowing in straight, overlapping passes and finishing the borders so a yard reads crisp from the street. Thunderheads stack up over the Wright County fields on hot afternoons, and between storms the grass practically leaps; steady cutting is what keeps it from turning shaggy. A lawn kept this way becomes the place summer actually happens: bare feet, a sprinkler ticking, a grill going as the light turns amber.
