About McGowan Lawn & Snow LLC

Moltke Township is thirty-nine square miles of farm country with not a square mile given over to water, and in January you can feel every acre of it as the wind crosses the open fields with nothing to slow it down. Snow out here doesn't so much fall as travel, curling off the section roads and stacking deep on the lee side of farmyard windbreaks. McGowan Lawn & Snow LLC clears that snow from drives and yards across the township, so the way out to the gravel is open again before chores begin. Come summer the same land rolls out in green rows to the horizon, and the work turns to lawns: mown, trimmed and squared-off until the grass around the house looks as orderly as the fields beside it. Organized in 1878 and named for a Prussian field marshal, Moltke carries a disciplined sort of name, and a well-kept yard suits it.
