Universal Construction

About Universal Construction

In Northeast Minneapolis the brick storefronts and onion-domed churches wear new snow like frosting, and across the water the old Grain Belt sign glows above Nicollet Island at night. Universal Construction turns construction equipment and know-how to snow removal across the city, clearing lots, drives and access ways when a storm buries the streets. Heavy wet March snow and powdery January drifts both land here, and a crew used to moving material by the ton can take on either one. What counts is the finish: a lot open edge to edge, the piles stacked neatly out of the way, the pavement waiting for the first car of the morning.
