About Karin's Services

When a snow emergency is declared in Minneapolis, the whole city rearranges itself overnight — cars shuffle, plows roll, and the narrow alleys of the south side fill up fast. That is the hour Karin's Services goes to work. The job is snow removal, plain and steady: driveways broken open, walkways scraped down to pavement, the ridge the city plow left across the apron pushed back where it belongs. A Minneapolis winter is long and it does not negotiate, so the work is about showing up again and again, storm after storm. There is a particular satisfaction in a driveway cleared clean while the streetlights are still on and the neighborhood is only beginning to stir.
