Saturday mid-morning along the Midtown Greenway, the bikes hum past below street level and the backyards above are all growl and green — mower season in full voice. iMowediT is one of those voices: lawns cut and edged through the summer blocks of south Minneapolis, then the same energy turned on snow when the year flips cold. The name says it plainly — the mowing gets done, and in winter, so do the shoveling and plowing, driveways and walks cleared while the Greenway fills with fat-tire tracks. It is a straightforward proposition for a city with two strong seasons. Grass down in July, snow gone in January, and the yard handled either way.
