Dougherty's Lawn Care

About Dougherty's Lawn Care

Minnehaha Falls freezes into a chandelier by January and roars back to life in the spring melt, and the neighborhoods around it live by the same swing. Dougherty's Lawn Care works both ends of it — mowing, trimming, and tending south Minneapolis lawns through the green half of the year, then shoveling walks and plowing drives at the same addresses through the white half. Corner lots with their double length of sidewalk get particular attention when the snow piles up. In May the job is a clean cut and a crisp edge; in December it is bare pavement by breakfast. Different tools, same street, same care for the people on it.
