About Dean Bjorkstrand Landscaping

Southwest Minneapolis in February has a hush to it — snow rounding the hedges, chimney smoke standing straight up in the still cold. Dean Bjorkstrand Landscaping keeps that calm honest by doing the loud part early: plowing drives and clearing sidewalks so the quiet a homeowner wakes to is the pleasant kind. The crew works the storm, not the clock, staying out until the pavement shows again. There is craft in snow work that rarely gets named — reading where the wind will re-drift a driveway, keeping banks low enough for sightlines at the corner. Done right, winter looks effortless; that appearance is the product.
