About Blue Earth Gardening Inc

The soil under Minneapolis is old lake bed and glacial till, and Blue Earth Gardening Inc treats it as the beginning of everything. The crew tends lawns and garden beds across the city, from yards in the shadow of Theodore Wirth Park's oaks to sunny boulevard plots on the north side. Spring means waking the ground gently — cleanup, edging, the first careful cut — and the summer belongs to mowing, weeding, and keeping green things green. There is a gardener's patience in the approach: feed the earth and the lawn follows. By August, the difference between tended and untended ground is visible from half a block away.
