Big D Lawn & Snow Services

About Big D Lawn & Snow Services

The wind off Lake Nokomis does as it pleases — piling drifts across driveways in February, carrying the smell of cut grass down the parkway in June. Big D Lawn & Snow Services meets it either way, plowing and shoveling south Minneapolis clear after storms and keeping its lawns mowed and trimmed once the ice lets go. A corner lot near the lake takes a beating from that open water, so the crew pays attention to the spots where snow drifts deepest and grass grows thinnest. Summer or winter, the aim is the same: a property that looks looked-after from the sidewalk. The lake can keep its moods; the yard stays in order.
