About Alton Lawns LLC

August mornings on Lake Miltona arrive with dew heavy enough to soak your boots before the first pass. Alton Lawns LLC mows the yards that tilt down toward that water and the ones set back along the county roads between Miltona and Alexandria. Grass runs hard on this lake-country sand once the rain comes, so mowing, trimming and edging keep a steady rhythm right through the season. Cleanups in April and October deal with whatever the oaks and the open wind leave behind. There is genuine pleasure in a shoreline lawn cut level and edged along the path, with the lake showing blue at the bottom of it.
