Pioneer Tree Service

About Pioneer Tree Service

The Rum River slides quietly through Milaca on its long way down from Mille Lacs, and the old Soo Line grade runs beside it, straight as a ruler, under red pine and box elder. Highway 169 hums north all summer toward the lake, but the tree work here stays local and unhurried: pruning that keeps a maple sound, trimming what leans over a garage, removing what has been dead since last fall. Pioneer Tree Service takes that steady round through Mille Lacs County. Storms coming down out of the north drop limbs across driveways and trails, and cleanup afterward puts the place right again. There is something plainly good about a riverside yard opened to the light with nothing left behind but sawdust.
