Midwest Seeding-Middle River

About Midwest Seeding-Middle River

In Middle River the land runs flat to every horizon, and each spring and fall the sky above it fills with geese whose voices carry for miles over the Marshall County fields. Midwest Seeding-Middle River works on Middle River lawns in the state's northwest corner, where a yard has to stand up to a wind that crosses the valley with nothing to slow it. The growing window is short at this latitude, so every week of green counts — grass kept thick, cut even, never left to go shaggy. Late in the day the low sun throws long shadows across fresh-mown turf, and the little river the town is named for slides past, unhurried.
