About D & N Landscaping and Tree Service

January in Wadena County gets serious. The air over the Crow Wing River goes hard and still, the pines out toward Huntersville State Forest carry heavy loads of white, and a driveway will drift shut without much wind at all. D & N Landscaping and Tree Service plows and shovels through all of it, clearing drives and paths so a truck can get out and the mail can get in. When the thaw finally arrives the work flips to lawns — mowing, trimming, edging, and hauling off everything the winter knocked loose. There is a plain, useful cadence to living this far north, and this is a piece of it: ground cleared in the cold months, ground cut in the warm ones, all around Menahga.
