Hedlund Backhoe

About Hedlund Backhoe

When a January clipper comes skating out of the northwest across Polk County, it does not so much snow on McIntosh as rearrange it, heaping drifts against garages and filling the lanes between houses. Hedlund Backhoe answers with heavy iron, clearing snow with a machine built to move earth and just as willing to move winter. The aim is a lane opened wide enough to turn a truck around in, with the banks pushed back square so the next storm has somewhere to go. In a town where the cold stays for months, that kind of room is what lets every morning start on time.
