Andrew's Lawn and Snow

About Andrew's Lawn and Snow

There is an hour in a Maplewood January when the Gateway State Trail lies blue with starlight and the only sound is a plow blade meeting fresh snow. That is when Andrew's Lawn and Snow goes to work, so the driveways on the route are open before the first commuter headlights come on. When the drifts finally give way to green, the same care turns to mowing — straight lines, clean edges, lawns that keep their color through the humid Minnesota summer. It is a simple trade, done well: snow gone by morning, grass cut by evening. In a town named for its trees, that steadiness feels right at home.
