Boening Brothers Construction

About Boening Brothers Construction

Winter comes at Mapleton sideways, running the open fields off Highway 22 until the fence lines wear white manes and a driveway fills in behind you while you work. Boening Brothers Construction keeps those hours — the black, wind-loud part of the night when the county is asleep and a plow light is the only thing moving. They open driveways and lots, cut back the drifts the wind keeps rebuilding, clear walkways down to the surface, and treat the ice hiding under the fresh stuff. The reward is simple and it never gets old: a farmyard apron scraped to gravel, a shop door swung wide, a truck out to the highway without a fight. Snow is this region's oldest argument, and around Mapleton they would rather have it decided before sunrise.
