Wilson Brothers Lawn Care and Snow Removal

About Wilson Brothers Lawn Care and Snow Removal

Mankato sits where two rivers meet — the Blue Earth folding into the Minnesota — and Wilson Brothers Lawn Care and Snow Removal works both sides of the year the way the valley works both sides of its waters. October is the hinge: the cottonwoods along the banks go gold, the last mowings tighten the lawns down for the cold, and the plows get checked over before the first real system slides in from the Dakotas. Then the long white months, and the brothers' trade turns to steel and headlights, opening driveways while the town is still dark. When the ice breaks up in spring and the rivers run high and brown, the grass calls them back out again. Two seasons, two crafts, one standard: leave every yard and every drive better than the weather left it.
