Spray Away SoftWash

About Spray Away SoftWash

There is an hour on a Mankato winter night when the streetlights catch the falling snow and the whole town seems to hold its breath. Spray Away SoftWash works the other side of that hour — the clearing, the opening up, the making-passable of what the storm left behind. In a river town ringed by bluffs, snow does not simply fall; it drifts, piles, and settles into every approach and entryway, and moving it well is its own kind of skill. A walkway cut sharp through eight inches of fresh powder says somebody was here, and somebody cared. That is the work: simple to name, exacting to do, and finished before most of the town has poured its first coffee.
