About May's Hauling

By February, downtown Mankato runs out of places to put winter — the piles at the lot corners near the civic center grow shoulders, then stories. May's Hauling exists for exactly that problem. Plowing moves snow; hauling makes it gone, loaded out by the truckful so parking lots keep their spaces and their sightlines through the deepest stretch of the season. Between storms the crew clears drives and lots, and after the big ones it carries the surplus away entirely. In a valley town that catches and keeps its snow, somebody has to be the one who takes it out.
